Their white fur coat, large figures, impressive swimming skills, and adorable cubs have won the hearts of many (ours included).

However, Polar Bears are listed as Vulnerable according to IUCN. Their most formidable threat is the loss of their sea ice habitat due to climate change. Due to the lack of habitat, Polar Bears find themselves further inland, increasing human-bear interaction, and other population-threatening activities.
