Unfortunately, it is common now to have a friend, family member, or someone close diagnosed with the notorious disease, cancer. 

There were 19.2 Million new cases and 9.9 Million deaths globally due to cancer in 2020. The most common new case is Breast Cancer (11.7%) and the most common cause of death is Lung Cancer (18%). By 2040, diagnoses are expected to rise to 28 Million per year.

The good news is there has been a 32% drop since 1991 in the cancer death rate.
