Hunger

Act now to end hunger.

Hunger goes beyond feeling hungry; it's severe food insecurity.

In 2021, 828 Million people, 9.8% of the world's population, faced hunger. Among them, 49 million across 46 countries risked famine—a dire state of extreme food scarcity leading to daily fatalities.

Famine, as witnessed in South Sudan in 2017 after prolonged civil conflict, is a tragic reality. Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan, and Yemen. face the highest famine risk.

We must unite to prevent famine, reduce global hunger's 9.8% prevalence, and combat this crisis head-on. Together, we can rewrite the narrative and ensure a future free from hunger's devastating grip.
